Vista Magnet organized two community events focused on school safety, and taking action to support the Parkland, Florida school community. Our goal is to address safety concerns from our school community in a productive and safe way.

We will hold a School Safety Forum on Wednesday, March 7th from 3:30-4:30 pm in the Library. All families are invited to join our teachers in an open forum to discuss safety, ask questions, and hear from students and staff about our proactive safety measures at Vista Magnet.

We will also hold a school-wide Service as Action event on Wednesday, March 14th at 10:00 am. All teachers and students will take 17 minutes to create positive artwork supporting school safety, which will be sent to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. This event will provide students with a positive action opportunity on campus on March 14th, so we can ensure the safety and supervision of our students during the school day.

Please review the Student Safety Bulletins from VUSD Student Support Services to learn about our comprehensive student safety and wellness resources provided to all students in our district.
